I purchased this product to seal some small gaps in my bathroom fan and to patch up a hole in the wall. It turned out to be more "foamy" than I had anticipated; I was initially expecting something more like clay or spackle. It has a very light and somewhat unusual texture, but it does the job as advertised! I'm satisfied with its performance, and I still have plenty left for future projects.
It’s easy to mold and apply. It dries in about 30 mins I believe.
The only problem I encountered with the product was that I had to refrigerate it overnight before using it. When it's initially opened, it can be quite sticky, especially in warm weather, resembling marshmallow cream. However, when it's chilled before use, it works perfectly without any problems.
Works for my sink
Very nice. Lasts a long time!
This sealing clay is fantastic. It's easy to work with and shape. Just fill the gaps, and after drying for 3-5 days, it becomes waterproof, durable, and can be easily painted over.
This product combines the qualities of caulk and spray foam but without the mess of spray. You simply tear off pieces, use them to fill gaps and panel seams, and then dip your finger in water to flatten and smooth it out. Unlike spray foam, which can be messy, and caulk, which can be challenging to work with, this material has a soft, putty-like consistency. It's odorless, water-based, and cleans up easily. Overall, it's a fantastic product!
I have a couple of cautions to share. Firstly, this product is noticeably lighter in weight compared to traditional clays, which means that if you're shaping a standalone item, it may not have the desired bottom-heavy balance. Secondly, it's worth noting that there are no provided instructions, so you'll need to experiment with it, just as I did. Nevertheless, overall, it's an incredibly useful product, and I'm eager to explore other applications for it.
I appreciate the convenience of these individually wrapped packets, as they prevent the need for a large tub that could dry out over time. Since I don't use this type of material frequently, it also helps save space.
Sealed the gap in the stove, I will look in the morning, it will not fall off, it means that the thing is good, then I will add the review.
Seal the plumbing under the sink washed out
This is a good alternative to standard sealant products.
It is easy to use and flexible to seal the air leaks.
It's quite adhesive and has a pliable texture similar to airy playdough. It may require a bit of manipulation to achieve your desired consistency, but it's manageable. After using it, you'll want to wash your hands due to its stickiness. However, it excels at creating effective seals and is ideal for both construction and DIY projects.
The mass becomes dry after approximately 24 hours and cannot be perfectly molded at the end of this period.
I applied this using gloves and a thin spackle knife, and the putty adhered well while effectively filling the edges of my dryer vent. I'm eager to see how it holds up over time!
So much nicer than the spray foam.
I used it to fill enormous holes that the plumber had left behind.
Unlike traditional clay, this product is quite different. It's surprisingly lightweight and incredibly malleable. I employed it to seal the connection between my portable air conditioner duct and the window panel, and it matched perfectly due to its white color. Applying it was a breeze because it tears easily by hand and conforms effortlessly to any surface. Plus, it adheres well.
I found this product to be a handy and effective solution for a range of sealing and repair needs.
The putty is white, and while it may not seamlessly blend with all surfaces, it would be beneficial if it were offered in a range of color options to better match different materials.
Very easy to use.
This product is different from typical plumber's putty; it has a marshmallow-like texture. It works effectively for sealing wall penetrations related to electrical and HVAC lines. It's suitable for duct sealing but not recommended for use as plumber's putty for sink drains.
I've never encountered or utilized something quite like this before. While I'm familiar with putty and spackle separately, this product seems like a blend of the two.
I bought this product to address some gaps in my house, specifically around doors and baseboards, which were too large to be filled with caulking. It comes in a white color that blends seamlessly with my existing white baseboards. It doesn't dry completely rigid; instead, it retains a slight flexibility, similar to how silicone dries.
